Exciting news! The apartment is finished and is featured in today’s Design*Sponge Sneak Peek. I’m so honored and grateful that Grace and Anne shared our home. It’s a dream come true!
Feel free to hop over and see the full tour.
it’s truly lovely and if I’m not mistaken, do I spy a BWI readers’ choice spoler?!
This is amazing!!!! Yay yay yay!!
Yep!!!!! Good eye, lady. Good eye. : )

I loved your old place and I love this. So inspiring, fresh, bright, clean, and simple. Loooooove it.

congratulations, Jess! It looks amazing.
Awesome, are you in for Boston?!
Wow looks amazing! So impressed!
Congrats on the feature! I love how much it looks like a home rather than just super design-y.
Loved seeing the pictures of your gorgeous home!!
You’ve done a beautiful job on your new home. Well done!
You summarized my design philosophy quite well! Almost exactly like I do in fact. : )
you bet I am!
Awesome! Life, business, or both?
definitely business and I’m hoping life, too
Amazing! Can’t wait to see you.
Gorgeous! You did a fantastic job Jess!
I really loved your old apartment and this one is just as lovely as the last.
Oh, and Treasure Mart is one of my favorite local haunts!
WHAT?! Congrats! So exciting! Heading over now.
Love the pics! Your home is AMAZING!
Your place is absolutely amazing. I’m getting married in April and may take some of your design ideas and put them into my new place. Love it! Especially the framed picture from your wedding. I love shoe shots!
Thank you! I’m happy to hear you might use some of my design ideas for your home. And yes, I am loving the hint of wedding in our room without it being too overt… the shoe shot does that perfectly.
Yay for Treasure Mart! And I’m glad you like the new digs. ; )
Congrats Jess! Amazing : )
It looks great! Love seeing your pretty style changed up with the addition of a husband I find that since living with Ryan my taste has evolved and matured with more depth and layering. Looks like the same is true here! Dying over your brick.
Hello, fellow Chicagoan! I’m so glad I caught Grace’s tweet about this d*s post, because it brought me back to your blog, which I’ve stumbled upon in the past but haven’t visited in some time. It’s great to see all of the positive changes you’ve made with the new site. All of the pictures look so pretty!
You guys did a great job of combining two aesthetics in your apartment design. My fiance ended up moving into the Lincoln Park apartment that I’d had for a while, and while I’ve tried to incorporate his likes into our decorating, I got called out on our Apartment Therapy tour for things being too girly! It seems you’ve struck a great balance– in decorating, in work, and in life. Inspiring!
Thanks! There’s less gold, white, and pink… overall. It gets mostly relegated to the guest room. But that’s okay by me. I too, find my style evolving.
Woo!! Congrats Jess! Your new apartment is decorated beautifully and I’ve loved watching it come together!
Your home looks so great! Thank you for sharing with us.
Congrats on everything
side note: I found this dresser at One Kings Lane, looks very familiar to your desk!….see the price, score for you!
I wish all the best to you Jess!
