Oh my, what a busy day! My best friend, Maggie, is in town and I will be heading to NYC tomorrow for our next BWI Workshop.

I thought it might be fun to share a glimpse into the studio from the vantage point of my desk. I love working from home and having the hustle and bustle in a place that I love so much.

As you’ll notice below, Susie refused to be in the photo (she claims she’s not cute today). But she sits in the empty chair below making our jewelry orders. And Caitlin is following up with a supplier about one of our upcoming collection colors.

    Good to know you’re an iced tea addict like me! I swear, I need an iced tea IV hooked to me at all times. :)

    I love seeing people’s desks, even when they’re more organized than mine. It looks like you get a lot of light in there. It’s important for me to have lots of natural light in my office so I don’t feel like I’m working in a cave all day.

    So glad to find someone else who enjoys drinking tea : ) I really enjoyed taking a look around your office – love the quote that you have infront of you. I just printed one out today for my office that says ‘it is always the simple that produces the marvelous’

I am a firm believer in making your workspace beautiful and clean and clutter-free in order to be happy and inspired and productive… I think that’s a major reason why I love your blog so much.     Hi Jess! Love the view of your desk. I’m always so interested in seeing how other designers work! Fun :) I was wondering, do you use a certain software for your invoices? Did you customize your own invoice layout or was it a template? I am currently looking for a new system, and thought I’d inquire once I saw yours sitting there! Thanks! :)
