TLS #94: crafting a Values-based career & life with intention online with Katie Evans (Hooray Mail)

TheLivelyShowwithKatieEvans

Today we’re talking intentions – Values-based intentions to be exact!

In this episode, we’re discussing what it means to live from our Values through the experience of Life With Intention Online alumni, Katie Evans.

Katie is a mom, wife, non-profit board member, and founder of HoorayMail.com – on top of having a full-time job!

She’s one busy lady and she’s sharing openly about how she’s changed her life to find more peace, joy, and fulfillment in the things she’s added and subtracted from her closet, home, personal habits, relationships, and career. All as a result of living from her Values-based intentions.

This episode is perfect for anyone looking to learn more about the Life With Intention Online approach, Values-based intentions, and the LWIO class structure.

TLS #93: life after blogging, the new book, & blog/life boundaries with John and Sherry Petersik (Young House Love)

TheLivelyShowwithJohnandSherryPetersik

Today’s show is quite simply… epic for any fans of John and Sherry Petersik of Young House Love!

John and Sherry are the husband and wife duo that have a large mammoth and devoted community that has followed their DIY successes, home decor adventures, and personal journey since 2007.

Then, in October of 2014, they decided to leave their full-time blogging career behind.

But they’re back… at least on today’s podcast!

They are covering all the bases:

– What they’ve been up to since they stopped blogging.

– How their careers have evolved post-blog.

– A sneak peek behind their new book, Lovable, Livable Home (launching September 22nd!).

– What’s new with Clara, Teddy, and Burger.

– How their blog/life boundaries and priorities have changed.

– Why they stopped blogging.

– The role positive and critical feedback played in closing the blog.

– And – of course – whether or not they plan to re-open the blog.

Let’s go to the show!

PS – For those who cannot hear podcasts, we have made a transcript for this episode.

it’s about to get up close + personal: my newest Values-Based Intention

NewVBI

Today I have two things to share with you:

1. A very up close and personal story about how my newest Values-based intention has impacted my life.

I share this with you so that you can see how I wrestle with my own ego, and also how I use VBI’s to overcome it. But before we get personal, I wanted to remind you…

2. This is the last call for the free, live (online) 2015 Intention Setting Workshops.

IntentionSettingWorkshop

As I’ve shared on The Lively Show, September’s theme is intention and the next round of Life With Intention Online starts in just a few weeks. I truly believe that living with Values-Based Intentions can transform your life, which is why I am so excited to share this free live workshop with everyone who registers.

Join me by clicking the above link and choosing the time that is most convenient for you – I will stay on at the end of the workshop until every question is answered – I promise!

To better understand why joining one of the Intention Setting workshops is so powerful, it’s time to share the story behind my newest Values-Based Intention.

So let’s start there.

Warning: Here is where we get up close and personal.

Ready?

Ok. Let’s do this.

As you may have heard on The Lively Show Episode #85 with FloLiving.com founder, Alisa Vitti (about optimizing female hormone health), I:

A) Have never had a natural period,
B) Have faced a slew of not-so-great side effects from PCOS, and
C) May possibly experience infertility based on A and B above.

Today we are wrapping up August’s Mindfulness Month (and the Summer Series as a whole) with the incredibly magnetic Jadah Sellner, co-founder of SimpleGreenSmothies.com.

Jadah and her partner, Jen Hansard, have created a massive online community and business around the concept of including green smoothies in our diet in order to improve our health and wellbeing in all areas of our lives.

In addition to talking about the positive effects of green smoothies, Jadah will be sharing about two other topics near and dear to her heart: authentic online marketing and embracing our imperfections.

This episode is perfect for anyone looking to hear about: the inspiring effects of green smoothies, Jadah’s take on embracing imperfections, or how a flourishing “accidental” career + business got started.

TLS #89: how to take big + small steps towards a zero waste lifestyle with Bea Johnson (zero waste home)

TheLivelyShowwithBeaJohnson

Today on TLS we’re exploring what is perhaps an unexpected slant on Mindfulness Month… we’re talking about trash!

Bea Johnson, of Zero Waste Home, is the pioneer of the zero waste lifestyle community. Nine years ago, she and her family of four slowly and steadily worked their way towards accumulating just 1 liter of waste per year!

Did you notice that mason jar she’s holding in the photo above? That’s their yearly liter of trash(!!!).

Though we all may not decide to go “full” zero waste based on our circumstances and/or personal Values, Bea shares many big and small steps we can all take to reduce the amount of waste we generate everyday.

This episode is perfect for anyone looking to hear an inspiring story of a modern, urban family who switched from “having all the things” to “having all the experiences.” And it’s also great for anyone looking to learn about the big and small steps they can take to reduce their waste.

TLS #88: how to access your intuition & find the answers you seek with Lynn Robinson (“Divine Intuition”)

TheLivelyShowwithLynnRobinson

Today’s Lively Show episode is all about my favorite subject: how to access your intuition in order to find the answers you’re seeking!

To dive into this topic, we’re talking with intuition expert and author, Lynn Robinson, about what the intuition is and how access the answers you seek inside yourself.

Lynn has written six books on intuition including Divine Intuition (which I loved), and she shares several practical tips to help us gain a deeper understanding of our intuition on the show.

This episode is perfect for anyone who is struggling to find clarity in some part of their life, or for anyone who wants to learn effective ways to access their intuition on a regular basis.

An oh-so-empowering practice to improve every aspect of our lives.

To explain how to change negative “ego attacks” step-by-step, we’re talking with life coach Brooke Castillo of The Life Coach School and The Life Coach School podcast. Brooke is a weight loss and life coach who now helps other people become coaches, too.

In addition to diving deep into the ego, we’re sharing openly about our personal journeys to heal ego obsessions with body image and career.
