Firstly, I love that you dedicate a week each year to giving back. I think it is so beneficial and meaningful to show your gratitude by helping others. I regularly listen to your podcast and always come away inspired.
Secondly, I would like to win these classes, as for the past three years I have been working as a freelance graphic designer and really finding it to be un-fulling monetarily and right now I am frustrated with the lack of new challenges. I am up for a big shake up and I think this course would really help me get on track! Thank you again. Rebecca X

  2. Brie

I so excited about the opportunity to win this scholarship! I would love to work on daily habits and my own thought cycles that have the tendency to overwhelm me with negativity. I’m at a point in my life where I feel blessed but also frustrated and anxious at the same time. Although I would love to buy your course, it’s out of my budget at the moment, so a scholarship would really be a wonderful gift.

  3. Heather Keesee

I would love to win this scholarship! I have made many changes professionally in 2014 and need to focus internally for some big personal changes in 2015. This course would be a fantastic way to start this personal journey!

  4. Hannah K.

I was looking to sign up when you launched this, but in my gut knew I wasn’t ready and couldn’t devote the time to it. Over the past few months, I’ve began asking some really tough questions. It would be so helpful to have some guidance!

  5. Jess, I’m truly blown away by your generosity this week. You always make me smile, and you encourage me and all your readers to really think about our choices and what’s important. I’d love to win the scholarship so that I can add more intention to my business and pay it forward to my clients.

  6. Life with Intention would be such an amazing class! I would love to put more intention in my relationships. I have friends spread all over the country and without that support network, I’ve been battling severe anxiety and putting it all on my husband. I would love the opportunity to explore this course!

  7. Kadi

Thank you so much for giving back to your fans, Jess! I don’t think I’ve seen a blogger give back so generously. As a reader, I feel valued and important (which is no easy feat when connecting via the Internet). I’d like to improve on my ability to act on needs/desires to better myself. I run into the trap of recognizing a particular action would improve my life (something as small as dry brushing before a shower to increase circulation and take better care of “me” to something as big as starting a creative venture to fulfill my need to “make”) but never actually acting on it because I get caught up in the work, eat, sleep cycle. Instead of choosing a new routine and having intent behind it, I tend to think about it because “it’d be nice to do” and then I never actually act. I don’t want to wake up at 70 years of age and suddenly realize my life was sans intention based values. As others have noted, I would LOVE to pay the full price for the course, but my husband and I are swamped with student loans. Anyhow! Thank you for everything you do! <3

  8. Erin Marchant

It would be such a blessing to win this scholarship. I desperately want 2015 to be MY year. I want to get out of this stressful cycle of goal setting and negative self-talk every time there is a set back. I really want to work on ME this coming year. I think that the course would be a great way to get the ball rolling and develop a new mindset!

  9. Oh I would love to win! 2015 is going to be my year 🙂 I’m ready to make some big changes both professionally and personally, but I would love help in determining the right path and the right way to go about making theses changes.

  10. Amy

I would love to win this scholarship as I am thinking about my next professional or career moves and would like to do so in a thoughtful, intentional way. As things are I get panicked in my current job and panicked thinking about making a change, and I would love to spend some time thinking about what would truly make me feel fulfilled.

  11. Angie McGovern

I would love to win this scholarship. It is kind of general, but I have decided to spend 2015 working on me. Since 2008, I have spent time moving around for my husband’s education and career, taking jobs that simply support our family and not necessarily my own goals. We have also had two children in that time. I have sort of let my self fall to the side. I guess I don’t even know what intentions I want to live by or where to start. This course is exactly what I need to get started. I hope to win!

  12. Juliet M.

I would like to take this course in order to gain more focus in my life. I have a big career change planned in the next 6 months and am finding it hard to have clarity with so many distractions and ideas for the future, not to mention worrying about it all! I’d like to be able to live more in the present to enjoy every day more fully, especially in the months ahead.

  13. Jennifer Ward

Focus on my Home. My office at work is spotless, my car is pretty clean. But my Home is a bit cluttered! I have 2 high school daughters and a 3 year old…They are Great! I feel bad they don’t live in June Cleaver’s house. I am the best at saying “I will organize this weekend” (which just makes my husband grin at me)
My 2 oldest will be leaving soon, college then on with Life. I want and they deserve to live in a home that is Warm and Orderly…so they will know how to keep their home one day too. It wasn’t always like this…but I lost Focus on it I guess? Thanks for the chance for the giveaway!

  14. If I were lucky enough to win a scholarship to Life With Intention Online, I’d most like to focus on finding clarity for my career. I try to live from my values as much as possible, but I still feel I lack purpose and direction in how I can best give back and do my best work in the world. I am struggling to find out which path I should take and how to make sense of all the interests I have. 2015 is going to be a very transitional year for me and I think LWIO would be such a wonderful opportunity to get some clarity on the direction I want to take. But I know that everyone who comments would benefit from the course in some way! Thanks for doing what you do Jess. Your words have brought me comfort and inspiration many a time since I discovered your blog and podcast last year.

  15. Jacki

This year, my theme is Bravely Becoming and this scholarship would give me another set of tools to really embrace that theme, in all areas of my life, but particularly in my finances and business-building.

  16. TheHealthyMaven

Jess! Thank you for being so generous! I would love to focus more on being more present. I spend a lot of time trying to plan the next move or big step in my life instead of looking around and appreciating everything I have now. 2014 has been good to be but I would love to be able to show more gratitude for these opportunities in 2015. I struggle with living in the moment so I would love to set this as an intention for my life in the New Year and I’m certain your course would be a major facilitator in sticking to it! Thanks 🙂

  17. anne @ wit wisdom and food

I would like to focus on my why. I want to find the best ways for me to help others. I know that is what I want to do, but have trouble sorting through all the ideas on how to so that. I keep getting stuck in comparison and shame traps and not making as much progress as I want. I know that this course would help guide me to a better understanding if the direction I need to go in.

  18. kristie

I only recently found you via Lara Casey on instagram and I’m so glad I did! I’ve listened to several interviews and have already applied some of the things I learned. During the interviews, I love how you point out some of the practical steps that are being taken and the large impact these small steps are making in the lives of the people you are interviewing. The last 2 years have involved several life changing events that have had more of an impact on my day to day life than I ever expected. In 2015, I am looking forward to pausing, assessing and finding a new way to get back on track with some of my personal habits that have gone by the way side. This course would be incredibly helpful in assisting with this. Thanks for all you are doing to help each of us become a better version of ourselves!

  19. what a great idea, giving back! i’d love to win a spot for this class and focus on focus and balance. it’s always a difficult thing to find one’s true passion when there are so many interesting possibilities. i’m sure the class addresses all sorts of things that would be great to examine. thanks for the chance!

  20. Jessica

I want (need) to focus on my personal habits and relationships. I’m not sure this comment is where I should get into the details, but I did send over an email for the other giveaway that might shed some light on this. Thanks so much for offering this! Enjoy the holidays 🙂

    26 and Not Counting

  21. Liz

This is so great! I want to focus on my career in 2015. It is time for me to make a big change, and as excited as I am to make a leap – it is scary and intimidating, so I want to do this as intentionally as possible. Cheers Jess!

  22. Jesse Creates

I would like to focus on failure, acceptance and shame. I’m comfortable sharing this because I’ve been digging in and trying to encourage others to be more comfortable sharing their failures. Social media will be more progressive once we start sharing our whole selves, not just the sexy bikini selfies. We are beautiful in our perfect imperfections.

  23. Steph

Thank you so much for the opportunity to win a scholarship for your Life with Intentions program. The area that I would like to work on most is determining my value based intentions and then developing ways to align my life within these values. Over the past year and half with the help of your blog and podcast, I have developed some great practices (gratitude and meditation). I think that this course would help me to take things to the next level to truly live with intention. Thanks again for the opportunity! Happy Holidays to you, Mr Lively and Franklin.

  24. Vanessa Chase

If I were to win this scholarship, I would love to focus on how I could live with intention at home and in my wellness. I feel very lucky to have a career that I absolutely love, but sometimes I feel that other areas of my life fall by the wayside in the midst of all the busyness. I think that Living With Intention might help me to find that clarity in other areas of my life to restore a more well-rounded intention.
I felt comfortable sharing this because I think sharing and telling stories is how we all connect with one another and how we remember that we’re not alone in our struggles. I hope that if someone else is also feeling like there career is overwhelming their life, they remember that they’re not the only one feeling that way.

  25. Tanya Seal Grant

Hi Jess! What a wonderful gift to give. I would love to win this to focus on Career, as I’m on the cusp of figuring out what I want to do with the bulk of my waking hours and could use a guide to help me gain some clarity. 🙂

  26. Angee Wiser Robertson

Hi Jess. Thank you for these wonderful gifts. I would love to take the Life with Intention program because for the last 12 years I have revolved my business around one area of my life, my business. I need to have a more balanced, integrated life and I need help focusing on the other areas. It is time to build my life fully. I’m also very interested in learning more about the ego as I think I have been letting it direct my life completely. Thank you for the opportunity.

  27. Chen Hope Mi

I would love to focus more on my career! I have just started work and am rather uncertain about the position. I have a good mentor and colleagues but I really don’t see much of a progression path here and there is minimal human interaction which a extrovert/relationship centric person like me isn’t encourage/energised by. When I ask my friends about this, many say that it’s normal to just work, finish the job and get the money. I really don’t want to be in a job where it is work and ends there. I do wish to be able to use my strengths/skills to benefit others and to be in a place that ties in with my personality. I have been reading articles and blogs about career and career changes, but it would be great if I could have more personalised advice and a community to explore and go through this with me!

  28. Neill

I’m in a place where I continually find myself living very small, hiding, and avoiding a lot. I’ve been reading Brene Brown lately and realizing what a big role shame plays in my thought patterns and behaviors, so my biggest goal for 2015 is to seek more connection, and to live more from a place of intuition rather than fear. I would love the chance for a scholarship to Life With Intention!

  29. I want to focus on my relationship to my center of power. To truly become intentional with becoming comfortable being strong and not playing small anymore.

  30. It’s totally amazing and generous all the value packed things you’ve been offering! I would use your course to zone in on exactly how I should balance my work and personal life. I would love some ah-has on enjoying the moment instead of just creating more and more hurdles to face. I’m a very motivated GO-GO-GO individual, but I know I need to lay back and make sure I’m having a good time while accomplishing my goals. Slowing down and relaxing are pretty foreign to me. How does a go-go-go girl feel she got it done for a moment? 🙂

Thanks again for all you do, it matters. Have a great holiday and New Year!

  31. Summer

Hi Jess! I’m literally doing cartwheels over this gift!! I’ve been on a desperate quest for living an intention based life. I’m 34, married, with a 13yo, 8yo and 2yo. I love my family deeply but let’s be honest, we live in a constant state of chaos. I’ve been operating in survival mode for a decade and in the past year decided it was time for a major overhaul. In that time we have had some breakthroughs, but I feel like I’m working with half a tool box. I would love to gain the necessary tools to manage my life and family gracefully so we all can look back on this hairy time without PTSD. Thanks again for all you do, it’s already helped me a ton! Best, Summer

  32. Holly Kirby Turfitt

With this scholarship, I would love to focus on being more present and intentional in both my career and home life. With a husband and three children under 3, the chaos is taking over my life and I desperately need to take that control back. I feel like this class will allow me to learn the tools I need to succeed. Thank you so much for this opportunity!

  33. Emily

Jess, this is such a great giveaway. Thank you for the opportunity! I want to focus intention on my career to align it with the things that matter most to me in life. Until now, I’ve taken the path of least resistance and feel ready to move towards a more intentional career. I would love some help with that transition!

  34. Katie

Hi Jess – I met you a few years ago at a Next Door class. In that short hour seminar I was so impressed and inspired by what you stand for and how you look at life. I became a “living with intention” mega fan. I read your blog and listen to your podcasts as much as I can. I struggle with the same things any 20 something, unmarried girl who works 60 hours a week does, but I would love more guidance on truly living with intention. I would love the chance to work with you on everything from job advancement (and the jump to possible entrepreneurship), relationship clarity (why am I the only non-married girl on the planet? sigh) and life in general. I know everyone who is commenting could greatly benefit from this opportunity for some one-on-one time with you. I want to thank you for taking the time to help women navigate through this crazy life. A community like this is seriously priceless.

  35. Wow- this week of giving has been huge Jess!
So, while I don’t want to put it all out there in the comments, I would like to say that there isn’t one particular area that I want to work on, it’s more that I feel I need some strategies and blueprints that I can build and apply to a variety of obstacles I’m encountering and changes I’d like to make. Ranging from career to personal relationships, I feel like I’m not reaching a potential that I know I have. After identifying a few obstacles, it’s so easy to get sidetracked and focus on the “can’t’ instead of the action portion.
I’m looking forward to taking part in your workshop at some point, and this would be a great opportunity to do it sooner than I had hoped!
    Happy Holidays 🙂

  36. Right now I feel like I’m always running in six different dorections with not a lot of focus on anything. I really want to focus on running my (multiple) businesses more efficiently and also being a more intentional mom. So when I’m working that is my focus and I’m getting everything done. And when I’m being a mom, I’m not checking my work emails, etc. I love being a stay-at-home-working-mom, but I want to be better at both things so I’m living my best life!

  37. Jess,
What a generous giveaway! I’m so thrilled to hear this news. I’ve felt drawn to Life With Intention Online ever since you announced its launch, but I decided it wasn’t in the cards for me financially. I’d be so grateful for the chance to pursue it!

I have big ambitions in my career and life. I want my health/wellness blog to grow into a trusted online resource to help women in their 20s live their healthiest, most vibrant and INTENTIONAL lives. And I think I can take it there! But my biggest barrier to achieving my goals is the stress of perfection — I paralyze myself before I even begin. I have plenty of big ideas, BUT a) I don’t know what steps to take to achieve them, and b) it’s easier to push them aside than it is to risk failure.

For me, Life With Intention Online would be my chance to turn my big-picture dreams into actionable and achievable steps. I know I have the ambition and the perseverance. I just need the roadmap!

Thank you for the opportunity, Jess!
    Much love,

  38. Kathryn Faye

What a fantastic week of giving! I need most help with clarity in my career. Ironically, I’m more clear than I’ve ever been, but at the same time that vision has opened up a whole new chapter of the Great Unknown! 2015 will be all about breaking up my career plans into manageable pieces so I make progress instead of getting stuck on perfectionism.

  39. Alyssa G

Wow – I just came across your instagram, and then this post, and then the post on the Life with Intention course. I don’t think I’ve ever needed something more in my life.
My mom passed away a little less than two years ago, and as an already scrambling 20-something – I’ve just spent the last two years floating. I would like to improve many aspects of my life, but right now the stand out piece is my career. I’m struggling to figure out what to do, and simultaniously realizing that my drive and passion have been lost in the struggle.
Thank you for being so generous – I sure hope I get the chance to join the course!

  40. Lindsay Mueller

Jess! I’ve listened to all of your podcasts and send them to friends often. The guests are great, but I really love the way you’re able to break everything down into tangible takeaways for your listeners — it’s such a special skill! Thank you for sharing it with us.

As for the giveaway, I would be humbled and grateful to apply lessons to a new blog / venture I’m launching called WELL / AWARE. It promotes conscious consumption and wellness from a minimalist perspective, and I can’t wait to share it. I’ve had two blogs in the past and have historically had trouble prioritizing and getting things done with a demanding day job. Readers always told me that they loved the content, but didn’t follow through because I have a hard time getting past my own doubts and resistance. You know that saying, don’t let perfect be the enemy of the good? After listening to your podcasts I’ve realized that this internal happens to me several times a week, often at the cost of creation. I think it’s why my new blog is still in beta even though I’ve been talking about starting it for over a year. I tend to get more excited about starting things but what I really want is to go deeper with them — I need to conquer (or learn to live with) the fear of putting something I create out in the world, as it’s gotten worse as I’ve gotten older (isn’t that funny?).

Happy Holidays Jess, and many thanks for everything you do.

  41. Lesley Myrick

I would like to focus on changing personal habits – overcoming procrastination (which is a huuuuuge problem when I don’t know the next step to take!) and increasing my confidence as a freelancer. Thanks so much for this chance! The course is not in the cards financially so this would be a GREAT opportunity. xox

  42. Amanda Wendel

I would just LOVE to win this giveaway! I have been interested in this
class since its launch but just couldn’t justify it financially at the
time so I am very excited at the chance now.

    I would love to
work on finding/ identifying my purpose. I feel as I am just going
through the motions of life and not really living for anything. I feel
that figuring out what my purpose is will really help to motivate me to
do bigger and better things with my life. 🙂

  43. Katie Evans

Jess – LWIO sounds amazing! I’d especially love to use the introspective workbooks as sometimes I process too much in my brain and not enough on paper. It’s SO helpful to get things out of my head and I know your course/workbooks would help me do so in a purposeful way!

  44. Erica

I quit my 15-year career last May after I realized I didn’t enjoy it. I’d like to focus on figuring out what I want to do next. I’m been lucky to be able to take the time off, but I feel I haven’t made as much progress towards my next step as I would like.

  45. Danielle

I would love to win the scholarship for LWIO! I’ve been wanting to join
since it launched but haven’t had the resources to make it happen
(supporting a sick fiance for over a year has been a little rough,
    despite having a successful business!).

    I’ve been running my
own business for the past 2 years in which I offer both business
coaching and health coaching. I’ve been really connecting with your
message and am determined to get more focused in 2015 (in all areas of
my life). I would use the class to determine the best way I can help
people with my business (connecting health + business coaching more).
Sometimes I lose sight of the small pieces of the puzzle that are
necessary to reach the big goals (like self-care). I plan to start back
    with my morning victories too!
Your week of giving is such a wonderful and inspiring idea. Thank you for this opportunity!

  46. Toby Trachy

I would love the scholarship for LWIO! Right now, I am working in a job that is less than ideal for me, but what I struggle with most is that I take my stress from work into my outside-work life and it causes me so much negativity and unhappiness. I would love to learn and work with others on how we can enjoy work we may not love and how we can leave work behind in our outside lives.

  47. Jessica

This is an awesome giveaway! I think my biggest problem is
defining what I want in life and my overall purpose! Sometimes I feel like I just landed where I
am but don’t necessarily want to stay here.
I think this class would be the perfect opportunity to help me figure this
    all out.

    Such a
nice week of giveaways!! Happy holidays!

  48. Rebecca Magee

It’s hard to pick just one area I’d focus on! For me, it’s hard to distinguish between work and life sometime (those areas definitely have some blurred lines). But I think I’d actually really like to focus on relationships, especially friendships and figuring out how to find my tribe again – those people who really share my values, which isn’t quite as easy once you’re out of school and not meeting people as often.

  49. joanna

What a great giveaway. I have been working on living more meaningful. Some days are better than others. I have returned to my teaching job after years of maternity. I have 3 young kids and a husband that’s always busy.. I have had a hard time becoming employed after my maternity leave. It would be helpful to have guidance on my career path and not just chasing the same job that was suitable 10 years ago.

  50. Jess, you are so generous. For me, it’s probably personal habits. This past year has been great in that I’ve experienced a lot of freedom, but at times I feel like I’m wandering around aimlessly. So my focus for 2015 is to experience freedom through routine and establishing good habits. I often feel like I get in my own way so I feel like if I can really get a handle on my personal habits, everything else will flow a little easier. 🙂

  51. Marketa

Love this giveaway. For me, it’s this internal struggle between working full time, essentially for money, and working on my side “business” that I love. I am struggling to find the balance, how I should go about making a leap towards my dream.
    Xx, Marketa & Happy Holidays!

  52. Amber

I would most like to focus on confidence and contentment with SELF. I’ve gone through a lot of rough times in 2014, and seen a lot of changes. I went through a very major breakup, which has left me in an…unfamiliar state. In 2015, I’m really to heal, recenter and BE again.

  53. Jk

I’d love the chance to refine and articulate my own core values. I would hope to become more aware of my own motivations and be able to keep long-term goals in mind on a day to day basis to actually get things done! My work doesn’t have much structure (earning a PhD in Psychology), so it’s on me to be disciplined. I think I would be much better at that if I had a clear vision of what I want in my life and career in the coming years.

  54. Dana Weinstein

I would love to focus on my finances and learning how to slow down (and be okay with it). Finances because I’m trying to tackle a pile of student loans while managing my day to day expenses, and it sometimes feels like too much. Also, I always feel like I’m in “go go go” mode and if I’m not in that mode, I feel like I’m wasting time. I want to learn how to not want to sprint from one thing to the next and just enjoy the moment.

  55. Leigh

I have worn myself out this year. I am almost never sick and I am sick for the fourth time since the end of September. I have already done some of the stopping to evaluate what is really important to me but this is the inventory that I need to do.

  56. Ashley

I would love to focus on my personal habits and core values as they directly influence all aspects of life (especially finances and relationships, where I need the most work).

  57. Natasha

Thanks for offering this Jess! I would love to focus on my core values and the areas that I want to work on the most are relationships and finances. I believe if I had guidance and accountability then I could break unfulfilling cycles and make major breakthroughs.

  58. Oh-so-many areas, but I think that I’ve been just beginning to touch on these concepts but I would love more concrete help finding my Values and most importantly, how to make it actionable in my life. I feel like I’m beginning to see how things have been isn’t working, and I’m starting to see new ways of seeing the world, but I’d love more help how to cultivate these Values in my everyday life.

  59. Rachel Mavis

I would love to focus on finding balance between a career that I love, the relationships in my life, and the pursuit of creative dreams. 🙂 I want to focus more on finding a balance between work and rest, doing what truly matters, and living in the present moment, not the chaos of busyness.

  60. Yvonne Montoya

What a wonderful holiday gift. I would love to go on this journey in the new year and might even do it if I dont win the scholarship. I just recently got married to my love of 5 years and he’s starting his own business. I have been inspired by him to start figuring out what it is that I love and do that as well. New year, new beginning. Happy holidays!

  61. Ashley Johnson

I believe what I need to focus on most is how to maintain my health and well-being while building a business. My health is currently on a great path, but I have had some serious concerns in the past, it is scary for me to move forward with my dreams and goals knowing this has the potential to cause a set back, or for some previous health issues to re-surface. It’s a big leap of faith for me, and knowing I have some support behind me would be an immense comfort and help.

  62. Kayley Nammari

Thank you, Jess, for such a generous giveaway! I know that I could greatly benefit from your course (and am kicking myself that I missed the discounted price that was offered last week)!

Here’s the thing: I don’t want to be average; I want to be awesome. Bam! I want to be a better wife, mother, daughter, friend, and soldier (Go Army!). I want to give 100% to each area of my life because each area deserves my absolute best. I believe your course will guide me to reach that awesome level by aiding me to be more intentional, to focus on the items that are truly important to me, and to bring some welcome positive change. And it’s not just me that would benefit; everyone around me would as well! That ripple effect would cross over to my fellow soldiers that I work with and train, to my husband who has been supportive since my depression diagnosis, to my son who spends the most time with me, and the organizations I volunteer with (how I strive to be more involved and upbeat about what is asked of me, yet it’s a struggle to give more).

Many thanks again for your wonderful giveaway and for sharing your talents with those that listen to your podcast! I hope you have a very merry Christmas!

  63. Jessie Gridley

I would focus on development of my personal values; this past year I was married and we set intentions for our marriage and talked about starting a family (now on the horizon) so I want to take this opportunity to reflect and concentrate on ME. I mean that in the most unselfish way possible but I believe I can bring more joy to everyone else’s life by being the truest version of myself.

  64. Lina

I want to work on purposeful living in general. And I want to figure out my goals in the long run in terms of my career. I did in fact already sign up but it would be a huge financial relief to get the scholarship.

  65. V

Thanks for your generosity! I’m currently struggling to determine which projects I want to do because I have a passion for them and which projects are more ego-driven. I’m finding it hard to tell the difference! (I know; I should do the gut-check, but I’m resisting.) Speaking of resisting, I wish I could stop resisting those things I want to do in theory (and in the moment, once I’ve started) – like meditation, writing, and walking.

  66. Keetha

I want to work on follow through, and being realistic about my goals, my time, and my passion, rather than working toward what I think I should. This sounds like a fantastic opportunity!

  67. Kerry Burki

So sweet that you are giving back! I am hoping to take my ideas and blog full-time in 2015! I have tons of ideas but worry about being too scattered to take everything to the next level. This sounds like it might help 🙂

  68. Kate

Wow, what an awesome opportunity! I would love to work on getting in touch with my intuition more and getting better at making decisions from that place rather than listening to my ego. Right now it looks like 2015 is going to bring some big personal and career changes for me, and in the past I’ve always been someone who gets easily stressed by change. I think that having this course as a foundation keep me grounded would be HUGE for me.

  69. I want to be more intentional in my relationships: especially with my husband and my new-found best friend. I have struggled for so long to rekindle my intimate friendship with my childhood best friend, and we are just in such separate spaces, physically and emotionally that I can’t find a way to bridge the gap. But then someone new entered my life and she has been such a powerful influence on me. The adult best friend that I was searching for. So I want to be intentional in how I approach our friendship and continue to nurture it. Also, my husband and I are just coming out of the hardest year of our marriage. After opening our home up to his parents and being completely taken advantage of, our hearts are raw. I want to be intentional in the rebuilding process. I know that once I harness the power of my intuition in these areas, lots of other things will open up to me. It would be an honor to work through this process through the class. Thanks for the opportunity. 😀

  70. Hi Jess! This is such an amazing giveaway. I want to be able to relax + enjoy myself more + take time off + savor live in freedom, just like this poem I present you!
(it’s from a portuguese poet – Miguel Torga).
    Start again…
    If you can
    without sorrow
    and without rush.
    And the steps you take
    in the hard road
    take them in freedom.
    Just don’t stop
    until you get there.
    Don’t accept the half
when you can have it all.

    And, never sated,
    keep on harvesting
    unstoppable illusions in the orchard.
    And always dreaming and seeing
    this amazing adventure happening.
You are a man, please don’t forget!
    And this madness is yours,
but only if you lucidly recognize yourself.

  71. Rachel

Definitely my life’s work. I am a mother of 3 kids under 5, and am homeschooling the oldest. I am also an artist. Just wondering what I should be doing more of, less of, or differently in this phase of my life.

  72. Jen Shuler

I have started picking a word each year to focus my life around. For the last 16 months it has been to simplify. We moved, donated 1/3 of our belongings, and changed our habits. My word for 2015 is intentional. I want to be intentional in how I spend my time and how I balance life as a busy advanced practice nurse, mom of a 4 year old and wife of almost 10 years. I desire to please God in all things and wish to achieve that partly by getting serious about my blog, http://www.godsgirlinthisworld.com. I would love to be mentored by you!

  73. Maggie

This is awesome! I feel like I have a hundred ideas running through my head but no real focus to follow through or complete any of them. I’d like to work on discovering which ones truly match my purpose in life and then working toward them intentionally.

  74. Elizabeth Stith

I love listening to your podcast! I think my main struggle is with living in the moment. I am a planner and often get so caught in the planning, preparation, etc. that I forget to appreciate each moment as it comes. I would love to simplify my life and focus on what’s truly important in 2015!

  75. Melanie

I look forward to your podcast every week!!! I have also thoroughly enjoyed following you in your journey. I know I would benefit from this because the last 5 years have happened so fast for me that I haven’t had a chance to reflect and understand my purpose.

  76. Amy Brown

I want to reevaluate and refresh my priorities and learn to say no, because no one wins when I’m spread too thin.

  77. emily_annadelores

As a small business owner, I want to get back to finding balance between work life and personal life, and the difference between setting goals and setting intentions! I’m SO looking forward to the LWIO experience. Hope you have a wonderful holiday, Jess!

  78. Kendra

Jess, this is an incredibly generous giveaway. In fact, this entire week of giving has blown me away – it is so clear how committed you are to living out your intentions and abiding by your upper case “V” Values. If I won a scholarship to this class, I’d want to focus on working with my perfectionism and essentially optimizing it to fit my life. Right now, my perfectionism too often is a wall between me and meaningful experiences, and I’d like to use this class’ structure, community, and content to explore creative ways to climb over that wall.

  79. Heather

I would use the course to focus on organizing and simplifying my home. With a new baby I feel crowded in our space and along with this I would like to create better systems for managing our home so we can enjoy family time.

  80. Jp-Monica Prado

Have you ever felt like you engage in so many activities and work load yet you do not know why? I am in this phase now so if I win this scholarship, I would like to focus on my intentions, my motives. I am working so hard. I keep on starting a new project after I am done with one. I am juggling so many things. Even if I know the Lord has blessed me already and He will still bless me, I don’t know why I cannot stop working even just for a little while. I cannot seem to take a break. I want to know WHY! What are my life intentions? What are my values now? I want to know these things so I can understand myself better and live a life that is based on values and a clear intention.

I hope to be granted the scholarship. It will make a significant difference in my life. Thank you, Jess.

  81. Nicola

Jess it’s crazy how fast a year goes by, I can clearly remember you doing this last year and putting it on my list of things ‘to do’ and then never getting round to actually entering which is basically how my the rest of my life seems to work. I am a great goal setter but not achiever and next year I would really like to focus on reducing the worry voice within, it’s constantly on play saying I’m not good enough or that I am going to get caught out sooner or later and people will be like who is she, she is useless. I’m tired of it and tired of watching people live their best lives, I want that to be me too. 🙂

  82. Kelley Fewer

I am mid-career, wondering if I have the stamina or interest to continue to the end! This course might help me with setting intentions for my work-life, cause if I’m going stay, I need to find a way to reawaken the joy

  83. Megan

As a woman in her early-twenties, I would love to focus on foundational values to set me up for my future, both career-wise and in my personal life.

  84. Johanna

I would like to be more intentional in the way I plan my future; that means setting realistic goals that have passion behind them, as well as being more intentional in my spending habits and health choices.
PS: what a fabulous idea this week of giving is! You truly are just the kindest soul, thank you so much!

  85. Sarah Sky

As 2014 was a large upheaval, 2015 is a blank slate. With your help I believe I could use your course for help in many ways and it could truly make the next phase of my life one with intention.

  86. Emily C

What a great gift! I would use the course to help me decide where to go with my career – my purpose in that field has seemed murky to me in the past few years, and a change has been calling me. I could use guidance in deciding what to do and how to handle any transitions – or how to make the most of where I am now.
Merry Christmas!! And thank you for all the work that you do, the podcasts are wonderful and a highlight of my work day when I get to listen to them there (which may be a bit of a red flag as far as work satisfaction goes?)

  87. Paige L

How cool! Something I seem to struggle with year to year is balance, I go on “health kicks”, and guilt myself when I have a night of indulgence, and I think that pattern continues in a lot of the “healthy habits” I try to create. I want to push myself to be the best version of myself possible, without falling into a pit of disrepair every time I lapse. So I guess to summarize, I’d like to not get so overwhelmed with all the little changes I “need” to make to myself, and enjoy life a little more. Sorry, if that was a bit of a ramble huh? I guess a dose of focus probably wouldn’t hurt either… lol

    P.S Love the podcast!

  88. Jackie F.

Jess, your generosity this week has greatly inspired me! If I win a Life with Intention scholarship, my primary intention would be to focus on figuring out a way that I can passionately make money as a solopreneur. I know I would love being an entrepreneur because I love calling the shots in my life and the feeling of really being in charge of my financial destiny, and I desire to do great work that really helps others. I just need to figure out what that work is for me!

  89. Jill Politsch-Zarzeczny

Hi jess, over the last few years I’ve gone from being the change I want to see in the world to being bogged down by the details. I want to teach my daughter to live with passion and to believe in her ability to affect change.

  90. Angela Bottero

What a wonderfully generous offer Jess! I love listening to your podcasts and look forward to Fridays (when it airs for us here in Australia) to be able to listen to the latest episode! I love going back and re-playing them too, hearing the stories again to catch something I might have missed or to re-enforce the message.

I’ve wanted to sign up for this course so many times now but unfortunately other financial responsibilities always seem to take priority…This would be a wonderful opportunity for me to finally be able to take part in your amazing class to gain clarity in so many areas of my life. I’m a serial ‘self-sabotager’, anxiety ridden, over-achieving perfectionist who needs to learn to have confidence in my abilities and talents, and stop needing the approval of others. I would dearly love to learn how I can live a more peaceful and fulfilled life not only for myself, but so as I can be a positive role model for my son.

  91. Jen

Thank you, Jess, for giving back in this way. I would love to win this scholarship, as I think I would so benefit from it. I am in the midst of a professional transition, and funds are tight – so I didn’t pull the trigger and purchase the class for myself. Because this year I want to focus on using my professional life to create true value for the individuals I want to serve, I would focus my efforts in this class there.

  92. LaMesha

Hi Jess! In 2015 I’d love to focus on my blog and my career. Our family is moving overseas soon (I’m a military wife) and my job choices are going to be limited to anything on base. I want to expand my online presence, monetise my blog and expand. I don’t want to feel limited by this move and new chapter in my life, I want to grow from it. Thanks for being so generous Jess. Happy holidays!

  93. JKE

I would love love love to win this scholarship! The lively show principles resonate with me so much. I was thinking about doing the course when you were running your holiday special but my husband and I figured out that we just couldn’t swing it financially. We have an infant and money is super tight. Anyway, in 2015 I really would like to focus on presence and balance and figuring out how to be a great mom and still do really great work. I’m working on my childbirth educator certification now and launching a podcast in the new year, but i’m feeling stuck on how to make it all work and do it all while still remaining true to my values.

  94. Ashley

If I had to pick one area to focus on most, it would be creating an intentional home, because that’s where your day starts and ends.

  95. Jamie Corcoran

Hi Jess! Thank you for doing this. I’d like to focus on my relationships-particularly one with a very special man I started dating recently. Dating has always been tough for me and I’d like to turn a new (intentional!) leaf.

  96. I would love to put more intention into my mothering. I feel like I’m always on reaction mode and all I want to do is play with them but never do. Thanks for all you do!

  97. Jane Bruner

I would love to focus on establishing a few specific personal habits in my daily life. I feel creating that foundation of intention is key to many of the other personal aspirations I have.

  98. Emily Dutt

Hi Jess! I would like to focus most on my personal habits as they apply to my relationships. Through listening to your podcasts, I have identified some traits about that I’m trying to work on myself, like financing, eating healthier, and finding my real passion in life. However, I would like to work most on my decisions/approaches to certain situations in my life. I want to figure out the best way for me to handle any obstacle in an intentional, meaningful way so I can have a successful road map. Thank you!!

  99. Grace

Jess – I’ve listen to almost all of your podcasts and have found your message so refreshing and thoughtful. Thanks for all you do. If I were able to obtain the scholarship I would focus on my passions and how my values shape future career choices. I feel like I am on the cusp of something great and the next chapter of my life and I want to use the class to create a foundation to move forward in that next chapter with confidence and intention. Happy Holidays!

  100. Brooke

Because, in large part due to your amazeballs podcast, I decided in October to “lean out” from my VP position after 15 years in the workforce and figure out what my life looks like without a big fat direct deposit paycheck and an enormous amount of personal and professional pressure. I am a wife, a mom, a fashionista, a writer, an aspiring minimalist, an armchair lifecoach, a wanderluster, a thinker, a political activist, a baby-“brand-new” blogger, a food freak, a dormant runner and ALL of those things are ready to bubble out, I just need need some guidance and structure! Pick me! Choose me!

  101. Hannah K.

I’ve always had a hard time aligning my here-and-now with my purpose. I know you focus on purpose and serving in the present moment, so I would definitely want to focus there first!

  102. Jess, this is incredible! Thank you so much for everything you offer on a daily basis, but especially for the wonderful opportunities this week.

If I were to win this scholarship, I’d like to focus on living out my values mostly when it comes to boundaries. In 2014, I realized I gave a lot of my time, energy and expertise to others. It felt right at the time, but looking back, I feel burnt out and in need of a serious reboot for 2015. I’d love to focus in on how I can get in better touch with my values to use my energy where I can best serve others, while still honoring myself.

Thanks again for this opportunity! Happy holidays! 🙂

  103. Beth Van Gelder

Such a great opportunity you are giving away! My goal in 2015 is to bring more “white space” into my life in order to live with more intention and to focus on the things I truly value.

  104. sjv214

What an incredible week of giving! I would really like to win this scholarship to enroll in the Life With Intention course online. I have seen the Jess Lively name nearly 1,000 times online. I have viewed your Instagram posts, and I have read many of your interview blurbs on Facebook. On many occasions, I have written quotes from your podcast interviews into the ‘notes’ section of my iPhone to live my best life. If I try to summarize my feelings and put into words how I could benefit from the scholarship it would, the words I would use the most include: grace, poise and choice. This has been a year of loss–a key family member, a job that I loved, a relationship–and I have used that collective loss as an excuse to meander this year. It was only this week when I saw your giveaway, that I delved into your website. I was hooked immediately by your values-based focus. I would like to redirect my path this year and DISCOVER MYSELF! Who I am, what I value, my dreams–instead of what I think I should be doing in life at this age. So, to sum, I would like to focus on my inner core–who I really am–because I think I’ve been afraid to go that deep in life. That fear has stunted my career “success”, my ability to open up fully to love and my ability to settle down in one town :). I think knowledge (of my values and who I am) will trump any fears and allow me to wade past them in the sea of life. Thanks for this opportunity.

  105. Lindsay Crandall

The area I’d like to most focus on is relationships. My one little word in 2015 will be connect, and I want to find a way to do that in a healthy, reciprocal way. I also want to figure out how to set boundaries with people in my life who I struggle with. But I also started a small business last year, and I think I have way too many ideas and got a little off course. I need helping finding focus, according to my values. Thank you for this opportunity!

  106. I totally need to work on my career confidence. I work for myself in 2 separate jobs and admittedly struggle with what side of myself and my job to prioritize and how to balance it all!

  107. Christine

Hi Jess! I’d like to focus on personal habits, specifically learning to live more spontaneously and in the moment. I have a tendency to overthink eeeeeeverything and a lot of my actions are premeditated, so it’s especially disappointing to me when something doesn’t work out the way I wanted it to because I had it already “figured out” in my head.

  108. I really want to focus on meditation and relaxing a bit more over this next year. I make myself feel so guilty when I take time for myself because I’m thinking about all of the things that I could be getting done.

  109. Jennifer Wilson

What a great giveaway! I’ve been eyeing this class for a while now. I want to focus on relationships over the next year. I recently got out of a long-term relationship and have moved to a new city but haven’t formed any strong friendships yet. It’s a fresh start and the perfect time to build a life with intention.

  110. I think some of my personal habits could use a real overhaul. It’s the things we do every day that matter more than the things we do once in a while.

  111. I left my corporate career 2 years ago seeking a more authentic, creative and connected life, but struggle to feel centered in my new life and frequently find myself wondering whether I am doing “enough.” I am convinced that the corporate life gives a false sense of purpose and don’t want to go back to that, but I struggle with what to replace it with. I set many goals, and achieve most of them, but sometimes feel that I’m doing it out of old productivity habits rather than from a place of authenticity and heart-centric intention. This scholarship would be the perfect next step in my learning journey. Thank you for offering the opportunity.

  112. Megan

Now that I’m a mom of three littles, I feel the stakes are so much higher – not only do I aim to work towards and follow my soul’s highest purpose in order to continue learning and growing, I also intend to model this behavior for my children. Intentional behavior that is true to my values, and follows my intuition and passions. I’ve spent the last four years focusing almost solely on mothering as I have nurtured and cared for my babies…I have done a lot of growing as my priorities have changed and sharpened in a really mindful way. Now, it’s my turn to discover what is next for me as I integrate all of these changes in designing not only my future, but also the future of our family in a lot of respects – it’s intimidating and exhilarating, and I’m so looking forward to this period of intense energy and joyful creation.

  113. stacymae

My focus would be possessions. I want to live my life more freely and I am realizing that I need to live more minimally to be able to pursue my dreams more easily.

  114. R2S

Thank you so much for offering this scholarship opportunity! Sitting behind a computer all day, sometimes I feel overwhelmed by all that I have to do, all that I want to do, and all that I feel that I am meant to do. Sometimes I fear and feel a loss of connection. I am embarking on a path that builds on my technical training and
skills but diverges from the traditional route that my colleagues take, and
that is not what many expect of me. This is scary, and a challenge, but I feel
that I have things to say and actions to take that are beyond me and beyond
what others expect of me. They are things that I have to get out there, no
matter what. I feel like the stakes are high because I could easily hide away
and forget it all. But that is not acceptable to me! I strongly believe that
this course, and understanding how to live my life with intention, will allow
me to surmount many of the internal fears and barriers I face so that I can
live up to my true potential. I considered taking this course in September, and
then again in December, but I do not have the financial ability to participate
at this point. I would really love to learn from this course and hope to be
able to take it at some point in 2015. Namrita

  115. Awwww, Since I missed the Time-frame to join the one on one mentoring (so sad, I really wanted to participate and partake on that goodness.) Jess, home girl, Sometimes life gets full of stuff. Stuff on your mind, stuff in your closet and just stuff everywhere. When you own a creative business, or a business in general it’s really hard to look at things objectively or from a perspective outside of yourself. You can get real tunnel vision or to attached. One of my unfortunate pitfalls is letting Go… I’d like to focus on Letting Go…Especially in my creative or business decisions ^_^ Letting go of all the “stuff” If that makes any sense. I’m usually an introvert when it comes to this…stuff. Hehe ♥

  116. Laura bostwick

Hi Jess, thanks for such an amazing week of gifts! I stumbled across your podcast earlier this summer during a big transition in my life (quit job, new city where I don’t know anyone, and no new job yet) and your show has made a truly lasting impression on me. You know how every year we say “this will be my best year yet!”…. well, instead of wishing and hoping (like that would ever work!), I’m determined to make 2015 my best year ever. To really live life with intention. To connect in the most authentic way. Winning this scholarship would be totally amazing, but please know that I have nothing but love and respect for you no matter what. Thank you for being so awesome!

  117. Jessica K

This is a great opportunity. I would like to focus on my intentions around relationships, including friends and family, as well as my financial intentions.
