a powerful energy

Guys, I had a breakthrough! After working for the past few weeks diligently putting my biggest priority first thing in the morning I finally “figured it out!”

I’m not sure what happened, but after working on this for a (looong) time, things are finally starting to click. Looking back, it’s hard to see why it was so difficult in the past, but I can only thank my lucky stars that it sunk in now.

If you have been working on something that hasn’t been coming together, I can only cheer  just keep going!

It might take a little while, but even babies learn to walk after they fall down enough times.

  1. Thanks for the encouragement Jess. I am REALLY struggling to start working out again, but I’m committing myself to making it a goal… first thing in the morning might kill me but I’m gonna make it work!

    1. That’s great to hear! I would be careful about making it a goal vs. an intention (this happens a lot with my Intention Session clients and trips them up). Best of luck with it – if possible, my suggestion is doing some deep work on why you really want this to be a part of your life.

(And of course, I’d love to help you with this and any other goals you have – if you ever wanted to do a Intention Session. No pressure, just letting you know I’d love to!)

Love Pressfield and I love how you always put everything into action. Would you elaborate more on what clicked? What’s different now? Where did the shift happen? What can we look forward to if we just keep going?

    1. Capella, that is a GREAT question. Thank you for asking it.

I’m not sure if you’ve read War or Art or Turning Pro before, but for me, it pretty much turned out like he mentions in the book.

Most of the last 2.5 weeks I’ve been working on this project while it hasn’t been “flowing” or feeling “easy” the way that I would like it to. But I’ve been “pro” and showing up day in and day out and doing the work anyways. Often, it feels kinda tough and frustrating. But I’ve done the work nonetheless.

After two weeks of the doing the work – I had a moment yesterday where everything clicked. Things I wasn’t easily able to do before over the past few months just kinda came together.

The only way I can describe it is like a baby learning to walk. Babies try, stumble, fall, and get back up enough times and eventually they can maintain their balance. That’s kinda how I felt yesterday. I took my first step. I’m sure I’ll “fall down” again in days to come in other areas, but I made substantial progress.

The only thing I can say is that you’ll look forward more mess ups, things not being easy. But eventually things will start to click if you are meant to do what you are doing. : )

That’s what I mean by just keep going.
