Welcome to the inaugural episode of my new vlog series!
< Cue crazy + awkward dancing! >
I plan to take you with me on my adventures as I share a more personal perspective on how I live my Values in my daily life.
We’re spending a Saturday together in today’s episode!
I’ll go through my morning routine, fix some gluten-free pancakes, go on an Ellie walk and visit some of my favorite places in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
We’re visiting the Tea Haus where Lisa, the owner, will show us how to take our fancy loose leaf tea’s on the go.
I’ll tell you about some popular Ann Arbor spots and we’ll visit some friends and their cute pups along the way!
Finally, we’ll go exploring through the Treasure Mart, my favorite vintage thrift store.

Do it! : )
Jess!! I love this! So excited to see more of your videos! I really need to visit Ann Arbor! Also–what kind of camera are you using?
I’m using a Canon G7X. : )
Awesome job!! I watched this as I was enjoying my first cup of Almond Tea from TeaHaus!! YUMMMM…
Awesome!!
This is awesome! Thank you so much for taking the time share – hoping there are more to come:)
Thank you, Liesl!
Loved it so much! I would totally watch this every day if you did it : ) The quality was fantastic and it’s so fun seeing you in your current environment!
Aw, thank you, Paige!! I’ll keep ’em coming.
That was great! Looks like a town I’d love, going to consider it for a weekend trip from Chicago 🙂
Aw, it would be a fun weekend aways from the city for sure. You can take the Amtrack easily. : )
Love it Jess, great job & so fun to see your stomping grounds! Look forward to more Vloggs to come!
: ) Thank you, Sadie!
Wonderful seeing and hearing you in your element! You’ve encouraged me to do the same with my town! Could you tell me where you got your music for the video and what program you used to edit? I’m a newb to vlogs. 🙂
Wonderful! I hired a video editor to put this all together, so I can’t help you with music and video programs. So sorry!
PS – I would suggest looking on YouTube for tutorials and suggestions. : )
Hi Shelly! I’m Jess’s video editor and I’d be happy to answer your questions. I use Adobe Premiere Pro to edit and use YouTube’s Audio Library for license-free music. Have fun vlogging!
Thank you!!!
Great vlog! I loved how you edited it and it was so fun to see you out and about. Just curious, did you feel self conscious or was it fine because you know a lot of the owners of the places you shared with us. As an introvert I know it would feel weird having people stare at me as I talk to my camera, I wish that wouldn’t bother because I think vlogs are fun and I hope to see many more from you.
Hah, it IS a bit weird to be talking into a camera on the streets. No doubt. I tried it in Target, too, and it was crazy strange. I think I’m getting more used to it… I keep thinking about you guys enjoying the show more than my momentary embarrassment to keep going. : )
Jess! I love this! And those towel hooks…Swoon!
: ) Agreed!
Ah this makes me miss Ann Arbor!!! Thanks for sharing!
Aw, I hope you get to come visit sometime and see all the new things popping up. So much goodness!
So adorable! Love this incredible Vlog!

Oh this is great, what a beautiful idea! Could you share with us what equipment you use – camera, lens etc to get such a stunning vid?! xx
I used a Canon G7X and hired a video editor to put it all together. If you’d like a training video, I would search for tutorials on Youtube. : )
