Jess, this is exactly what I meant in my comment on your last post…I LOVE when you share your wisdom, or in this case your favorite things. So fun, so inspiring! I have heard so many good things about coloring and I think I’ll try it too. It’s supposed to help with anxiety which I could really need.

I’m definitely going to look forward to more of these Tuesday episodes!

And yes, to a London meet-up. That would be so fun 🙂

    1. I hope you try out the coloring – it’s amazing!

Can’t wait to see you in London when I’m there! If you have any suggestions as to where to host something like this (cute, free, and easy for people to get to) please let me know!

Jess! I have been a long time listener and finally feel compelled to comment because I just recently became a tea lover as well (which is not to say I haven’t been inspired by other episodes, I absolutely have!). Anyway, I had to share my love for Lemon Ginger tea by Stash. It is herbal, caffeine free, and just makes me feel GOOD. I make sure to drink a cup especially when I feel a cold coming on, and I swear it helps keep it away. Hope you feel better soon! 🙂

    1. Hi, Lindsay! Thank you for the tea suggestion, I could use anything that will help me kick this cold – the symptoms just won’t stop!

      : )

The pink color of the tea comes from the hibiscus flowers. It’s common to make tea from the dried flowers in the Caribbean and Mexico. I make a delicious (and low sugar) rum punch with hibiscus tea, fresh mint, lemon, and a touch of honey!

Oh! Also, please read Don Miguel Ruiz’s “The Four Agreements,” if you haven’t already. It’s taught me that cultivating a space of inner peace within myself will help me move through the stresses and challenges of life with ease. We can center ourselves on our breath and get contentment from that despite anything else happening in the world. My dad has a similar spiritual reading list as you (A Course in Miracles, for example), and the Four Agreements changed him from a cranky selfish guy during his divorce to the endlessly loving and patient man he’s been ever since. It’s changed my life as well!
