end of the week exfoliation

Good morning! Or not so good morning, if you live in Chicago. As I write, the rain is smashing on the metal ledge outside my window. Just like it was last night. All night long.

Anyways, despite this dark, drab, droopy morning, I am busy preparing for another Macy’s trunk show this afternoon (11-5) at the State St. location. I have decided to do these little shows on (most) Fridays throughout the holiday season. It’s a great way for me to meet new customers, and get more exposure for Jess LC.

As for this weekend, I’m running my last long run before the marathon next week. I’ll also be watching the Chicago Marathon this Sunday while they run by my apartment building. And of course, there will be Michigan football to watch with E on Saturday night. Here’s hoping that the weekend weather shapes up!

(Sorry that I posted this one a week early. I edited it before I realized it was for Oct/23.)

These running shoes have been with me since early spring. They’ve seen me through many runs, walks, and weight lifting classes. Now it’s time to move on to the new baby pink and silver running shoes for the race.

  1. If it makes you feel any better, the weather is just as gloomy here in Michigan, cold & wet, but at least the weekend is here. Happy weekend!
