Today I have my first 2016 monthly favorites podcast sharing all my January favorites with you!
In this TLS episode, I’m talking about a bunch of fun things including… some great rose teas and lattes, how I’ve upped my laundry game without buying a new washer/dryer, my new favorite mug which benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a favorite new nail polish color, and more.
This episode is perfect for anyone looking to hear a fun, lighthearted conversation about the things I’ve been loving in January.

The Equal Exchange Mint Crunch is my downfall. It’s SO good!
Right?! #chocolatetwins
You can also make your own dryer balls with 100% wool yarn from your local knitting store!
I didn’t know that, thank you so much for sharing that tip, Leah!
You’re welcome–good if you are thrifty or have a yarn stash. But it’s nice to have a convenient pre-made version!
Good news for the gluten free folks on the chocolate mint bar – it IS gluten free 🙂 The crisps are actually sugar and peppermint oil per their website. Even more reason to love them!
Amazing!! I couldn’t find a label about gfree or not, thank you!! : )
If you love roses, you need to add a visit to the Bulgarian Valley of Roses to your bucket list: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/06/01/rose-valley-bulgaria_n_5397257.html
If you have a perfume with rose oil, it likely came from Bulgaria. I went to college there and it is as beautiful as it sounds!
Thanks, as always, for the wonderful episode and all the great tips!
This is gorgeous, Lacey, thank you so much for sharing this with me!! A valley of roses sounds right up my alley. : )

When I heard you share about nail polish, I had to make sure you knew about Jamberry! There are both nail wraps, which are super fun and polish and gel if you prefer that! The polish is 5-free with none of the harsh chemicals! I am first a lover of this product and second a consultant. I don’t want to promote myself here, so let me know if want to learn more!
Crazy! Thank you for sharing this, I haven’t heard of Jamberry before. : )
Since you’re a rose lover, have you ever tried rosewater ice cream? My husband is persian, so its a favorite in our house. =) Mashti Malone is the most well-known brand. Definitely not dairy-free but there has to be some options out there. Also, Girl Scouts have a gluten-free option for the past two years called toffee-tastic. We’re in the midst of GS Cookie madness over here. 😉
What?! No, rosewater ice cream sounds awesome! I also didn’t know about the toffee-tastic, thank you for that heads up, too! : )
