Today on The Lively Show, I’m answering listener questions about all things travel, from how to talk to strangers and make new friends, to the lessons I’ve learned so far, and what European city I can see myself living in later this year.
In addition, I’m also sharing the best advice I’ve ever received (which I still use today), my favorite nail polish, and more.
This episode is perfect for anyone interested in hearing about travel tips I’ve picked up along the way, the value of mentorship, and more.
IN THIS EPISODE YOU’LL FIND OUT ABOUT
- How are you liking Europe and what are you learning about yourself?
- What are your travel essentials? Was there anything you could have left behind that you don’t find yourself using as much as you thought?

- What is the best advice you received and how did it affect your life?
- What’s been a high point and what’s been a low point on your adventure?

I loved the way you described Lisbon! Being a foreigner myself that chose this city to live, I couldn’t put it more accurately. I’m so glad you had a great time here! When you come back next week, if you have some time in your routine and would like to meet someone new, I would absolutely love to meet you and show you some hidden spots. Let me know!
Congrats on creating your awesome reality! So glad you mentioned Abraham-Hicks because I’ve been wondering and meaning to ask if you were into them and now I know!! You’re an absolute inspiration. Thanks for sharing ❤️
Hi Jess- I have recently started following you and am really enjoying your podcasts. Your philosophy sounds very similar to how my husband and I have lived our lives over the past 14-years of marriage which has taken us from Utah – Nanjing, China – Southern California – South Florida – Shanghai China – and for the past for 4-years the most amazing country, New Zealand! Anyway, your comment about doing laundry while living on the go and out of a carry-on made me think that you might need to know about merino wool! I’ve done a post on my website about why everyone needs more merino in their wardrobe, but one of the biggest reasons is that merino is anti-bacterial = anti-stink = you CAN wear things multiple days in a row without feeling gross! Icebreaker might be a brand to check out, you can even get underwear! Or for cardies J Crew has lightweight ones.
