TLS #188: The Law of Attraction (and the 3 most common misconceptions)

Today we are diving into a foundational principle of consciousness and energy: the Law of Attraction.

I believe the Law of Attraction is extremely powerful… and is also often misunderstood or misapplied. Today, I’m going into the details about what it is, where it came from, and I’m clarifying what I believe to be the three biggest misconceptions.

This episode is perfect for anyone looking to understand The Law of Attraction, which I believe to be a foundational principle of energy, flow, and consciousness.

  • Where did the Law of Attraction originate from.

  • What is the Law of Attraction exactly and how it explained today.

  • How the science of quantum mechanics (frequency, waves and vibration) relate to the Law of Attraction and affect our reality on the physical realm.

  • What are the three most common misconceptions about the Law of Attraction.

  • How alignment plays a role with your intuition and the universe, the source.

Great episode, Jess, thank you! 🙂 I love the idea of focusing on being happy. Also, I hope you enjoy Sydney, it’s a great city. (I grew up there, and now live in the US.)

    Hey Jess,
There were so many new ideas/concepts that I connected with on this episode. I have been interested in what Law of Attraction really is and you were able to explain it an a way that made sense to me. I took so many notes and I’m excited about the next episode! I particularly loved it when you were discussing the shinny pennies and said – it’s the icing on the cake, and you’ve had the cake the whole time! Love that analogy :).

This was so interesting, especially because it basically puts words to a reality I’ve felt/observed over the course of my life… I guess that is why its called a “law” 😉 I think the most interesting thing to me is how people with different personalities embrace/struggle with the law of attraction (and other universal truths). I fall more in the (ambitious) procrastinator/adaptable/leave things open camp rather than Type A/overly planning/anxious about the future.. and I definitely feel the most out of alignment when I’m avoiding or neglecting important tasks/underlying desires and falling into complacency. This came to a head recently when several unfortunate things happened at once and it was like a wake up call that I need to get more proactive and in alignment with my intentions (I won’t say goals ;). Now I know the name for this phenomenon! I also thought about my mom and best friend who are much more type A and anxious about having plans set in stone, and how embracing this concept would be helpful for them also. Thanks for the explanation, excited to explore the concept further.
