look at the choices you have

LookAtTheChoicesYouHaveAfter seeing how not moving to Seattle struck a chord, I wanted to find some wisdom that could help myself and those similar situations see things in a new light.

Luckily, I happened to have this quote from Michael J. Fox sitting in my phone for the last several months. It perfectly summarizes what we can do to lift our spirits and forge ahead right where we are.

Thank you so much for this. I received notice yesterday that I’m being laid off from my job, and now have to figure out what to do now, so this is especially timely for me.

    1. I am so sorry to hear about the job situation, Rachael. Though I know it must be incredibly difficult, I am grateful to hear about your proactive approach to the situation.

Though I cannot personally relate 100%, I did recently share a way of looking at being unemployed from an entrepreneurial perspective that might possibly be helpful: http://theeverygirl.com/feature/living-well-how-to-stay-motivated-when-you-are-unemployed/.

I also have a feeling this is an “important no” (http://theeverygirl.com/feature/living-well-moving-forward-after-hearing-no/).
