To show my gratitude for your support throughout 2014, I have five gifts planned for you over the next five days!

There are no sponsors associated with these gifts (just some help from friends on the Wednesday and Thursday surprises).

They are simply from me, to you.

To kick off the second annual Week of Giving I am giving away one year-long mentorship!

I believe that mentorships are powerful and can really help people take their lives to the next level.

In 2015, I would like to mentor a reader to help her design her life with intention.

I will have monthly, hour-long calls with this mentee and help her to uncover her true intentions for her life and overcome the resistance she faces when making her dreams come true.

My hope is that by providing my insight, encouragement, and support, this mentee will breakthrough in many ways she never thought possible.

(This will not be a business mentorship, it will focus on all aspects of life. Career situation is irrelevant to this mentorship.)

I am looking for a mentee who is serious about taking her habits (and life) to the next level. Proactivity and willingness to do the work are key.

Here’s what my 2014 mentee, Kimberly, had to say about her experience:

“Working with Jess this past year has been phenomenal.

I’ve been reading JessLively.com for years, and continued to learn about Values-based intentions and the reasons why you should move away from goal setting – but I never quite understood.

Being able to speak with Jess on a regular basis helped me implement new values in my life that are now ingrained and intricately a part of how I make decisions.

This was such an invaluable experience.

She has served as not only a mentor, but a coach who inspires me in many aspects of my life.”

– Kimberly, Manfiest Yourself

If you would like to apply for this mentorship, please send an email to jess@with-intention.com about why you would like this mentorship opportunity with me by Sunday, December, 21st.

Please note: 500 words or less, subject line: 2015 MENTORSHIP.

I will select the 2015 mentee and email all mentorship applicants about my decision on January 4th, 2014.

If you think this mentorship would help you take things to the next level, I hope you reach out!

    1. Thank you for all the love and support, Kimberly. You are amazing. : ) How are your new words going?!

      1. They are really working well. Especially for relationships. I don’t know what it is about the words vs the phrases – but that really helps them stick for me. I’ve also explained the triangle for setting intentions at least 5 times this week to explain how I am setting up my new years goals/intentions/resolutions. 🙂

This sounds like such an awesome opportunity! I’ll send you an email soon 🙂

  2. Oh wow! What an amazing gift. 🙂 Your podcast has filled me up in so many ways, I can just imagine what a year with you would do. 😀

    1. That’s great to hear, Shaina! I hope you have reached out (or do if you haven’t already!!). : )

What a generous and kind offer Jess. I recently discovered your podcasts (and podcasting in general! I think I heard about you from the design sponge podcasts). So I’ve been downloading lots of them to listen to, while I deal with my grumpy toddler or doing housework, when I would rather be working on my creative business/etsy shop! I can get very frustrated with my lack of time/energy (7 months pregnant), but your podcasts are extremely motivating and remind me of all the amazing opportunities I can jump on too- just like you and your guests! I hope to apply for this amazing opportunity too. Thanks Lauren, listening down under in New Zealand 🙂

    1. That is so great to hear, Hun! I’m so glad the show has been keeping you company and I hope you apply for the mentorship (if you haven’t already)! : )

  4. Christine

Jess, you’re an angel! I’m submitting my application today.

  5. Liesbeth

Jess, what an incredible and generous offer. It’s been amazing to read about your week of giving, and not just because the gifts are so awesome (although they are)! I like it more as it reminds me how much I also have to give during this time when there is such a temptation to get carried away with buying mindlessly and rushing around. Such a lovely thing to instead think about consciously giving and sharing with our community 🙂

    1. : ) I’m so glad you appreciated the Week of Giving and that it connected you to that giving spirit as well.

It really does make a big difference in terms of how we feel during the holidays, doesn’t it?

      Happy New Year!

  6. Grace

Jess – I’ve loved listening to you on the long drives to graduate school once a week. Your insight and breath of guests has provided so much insight. The questions you ask to get down to the real reasons why some guests feel a certain way or experienced a certain thing is phenomenal and I greatly appreciate your honesty and the honesty you gather from their experiences. Thanks for all you do – you really are an inspiration!

    1. Hi Grace, thank you so much for the kind words of encouragement. It means a lot to me and I hope you have a great NYE!

  7. Maria

Dear Jess, I am late for this opportunity but wanted to send you a whole bunch of virtual appreciation anyways. I listen to you whilst I paint and you have already become a sort of mentor. Thank you!
