new white marble studio table

I’m in love. I went thrifting at the local White Elephant for some cool figures to spray-paint last Friday. As I browsed, I noticed a beautiful white marble farm table but passed it by since I have a great new glass table for the dining room.

But you know, I’m intentionally obsessed with white marble.

Two days later I realized it would be perfect for the jewelry studio!

So after a dozen phone calls and a special delivery, the white table and I are now family. Take a look at the before and after of the old table vs. the new.

The old table was nice, but nothing special and added darkness to a room without overhead lighting.

Voila! A brighter, sturdier, and oh so beautiful work surface.

I also love the contrast between the modern chairs and the old Italian marble. So chic. All it needs is a yellow rug beneath.

Who knows, maybe one day this table will become an island of my future kitchen.

And the best part? It only cost me a grand total of $85*!

* Price is including shipping fee, 50% discount, tax, and funds from the old black table sold on Criags List.

@ All: So glad you ladies like it too! I sit facing away from it, so when I turn around to look at it, I always smile.

I did not know that the White Elephant delivered. This is fantastic news. Enjoy your table! It’s beautiful.

@ All: So glad you like the table :). I feel so lucky it was still there when I found a place for it.

@ Maris: Yep, they do have a delivery guy. He charged $40 to deliver it. It was well worth it considering how heavy it was and since we don’t have a car.
