i’m selling jewelry (again!), have a new site(!), & a home tour on Style Me Pretty

NewShopHoly guacamole, guys.

I have three very exciting new things to tell you about!

1. The new shop.

2. The new site.

3. And a new Style Me Pretty home tour.

1. The New Shop

This weekend Mr. Lively and I were busy bees working on a brand new site for JessLively.com that also includes a shop!

Yes, I’ve dipped my toe back in the accessory pool once again.

This time, I’ve decided to do it through special collaborations with other creatives that I admire and adore.

To start, I’ve partnered with metalsmith and jewelry designer Nichole McIver of Acanthus Jewelry.

As I started to teach Life with Intention Online earlier this year, students would always ask me how they could remember their intentions in their daily life.

I decided that a bracelet, something they could wear everyday, would be a pretty and simple way to keep their intentions at the forefront of their minds.

Nichole and I worked together to make this simple bronze cuff to do just that.BraceletImage2

On the back, we decided to add a little nod to chevron, since chevron was a big part of my brand back in the day.

Oh, and the lovely lifestyle shots? Those are the work of friend, blogger, and artist Blair Culwell of The Fox and She.

Shop the bracelet here.

In addition to the bracelet, I’m also selling a limited run of the Just Keep Going Tote, too.

These are the same totes from the Business Workshop At Home. I had several requests to sell the totes individually, and I’ve finally decided to do just that!

The tote artwork was done by Jen Serafini.

Shop the tote here.

2. The New Site

With the podcast, blog, and shop, things were starting to get a bit complicated with one single blog page.

To make things easier to find and navigate, I redesigned the site and the extremely patient Mr. Lively programmed it this weekend.

Yes, I just did a website redesign a few months ago (February, I believe?). At the time, I wasn’t thinking about the shop, and I was primarily focused on upgrading the With Intention website.

This time it was all about making sure JessLively.com was as effective and helpful as possible.

One of my favorite new features is a page to help you sort podcast episodes by topic.

I hope you take a few minutes to look around the new site. There are new pages, helpful features, and a better introduction to intention setting.

3. Style Me Pretty Home Tour + Interview

Last but not least, yesterday I was featured on Style Me Pretty Living with a new home tour and behind the blog feature.

It is so cool to see how the apartment looks when captured on film vs. digital. The photos were taken by local Chicago photographer, Yazy Jo.

(And yes, Franklin is sporting a bow tie for the special occasion.)

As always, thank you so much for your support.

I’ll see you back here on Thursday with a brand new Lively Show episode!

Gorgeous new site design, Jess! You and Mr. Lively did a really excellent job with it.

By the way, I am really loving the podcast and just left a review for it. Keep up the great work!

    1. Thank you so much, Kelly! I’m glad you like the new look and thank you mucho for the review. : )

  6. Congratulations! When I clicked on the site (before reading this post), I did a double take. It looks so high end and impressive! So professional and well-executed. Amazing job! And I love that the podcasts are sorted by topic. I’m REALLY enjoying them! My favs were Liz Schneider, Grace Bonney, and Danielle Moss.

I quit my job in Feb 2013 because it was close to, but not exactly, what I wanted to be doing, and I felt that staying there would keep the right opportunities from finding me available for them. People thought I was CRAZY to give up a good title in a fun/popular industry to waitress and and spend a year struggling with what I love, what it is I do, and what my goals are. While I’ve felt lost some of that time, I always knew I was doing the hard personal work that needed to be done, and just kept following and trusting my gut. I am now interviewing for what I believe may be my dream position. One which would never have found me if I was still at my old job or had given up a long the way and taken any ole soul sucking job. If I get it, I’m rewarding myself with this bracelet to remember to keep living with intention, no matter how hard 🙂
