One year ago today, Mr. Lively and I were wed in a quiet corner of le Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris.
To celebrate, we are spending the day together revisiting our vows, reflecting on the past year, and looking forward to the year to come.
While we are savoring this year, I thought it might be nice to share some links to posts related to our (intentional) wedding for those who may not have read about our wedding last year.
What I’m Wearing on My Wedding Day
Designing Our Wedding with Intention
For those who would like the complete recap, hop over here!
Random question: Do you wear those blue flats all the time, because I would. Haha.
Actually, not as much as you would think. I pulled them out for dinner yesterday but with a recent rain storm, didn’t want to get them wet. I’m super protective of them, so I think that has meant they are only considered for super special occasions.
What a beautiful story about your meaningful wedding! I loved every detail! Congratulations to you both! Sending you love and light for another blessed year of marriage 🙂
Thank you, Martine!! How are things going for you?!
Oh, JESS! Since I revamped my business and website and offerings after Grow With Intention, I’ve just boomed. I’m booked through August and September with blog coaching consultations! I’m working with a fellow JessLive.com reader, Polly Alexandre, who lives in Ibiza and we’re working on crafting her new lifestyle platform. I’m doing what I was meant to do, helping women, and I finally have enough time for my family. I hope one day I can give you a proper testimonial! You are a BLESSING, and I’m so glad I found your community! Much love to you.
Oh my! That is so exciting to hear, Martine! That is evertyhing I hope for you!
Yes, I’d love for you to share this whole experience in an updated ‘what has happened since’ testimonial! That would be lovely!
Happy Anniversary! So great to see you two this past weekend!! 🙂
Thank you, CB! I had such a great time meeting Lelia and spending time with you both!
Wow – the year has really flown by. I remember being really excited for you and Mr Lively ahead of your Paris trip. I’m curious as to what your mum lent you for your something borrowed as well.
Happy anniversary Lively’!
Aw, thanks! The something borrowed was a light blue handkerchief, I now keep it in a shadow box in our hallway with my other vintage jewelry from my grandmothers. : )
Wow!! Happy anniversary! I can’t believe it’s been a year 🙂
Thank you! I know, a full year!
Thanks, hun!
I remember this was around the time I first started reading your blog, Happy Anniversary ! To many more amazing years for the two of you ! 🙂
Aw, that is so great to hear! Thank you for joining the journey. : )
Thank you, thank you!
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Lively – and here’s to years and years of Anniversary celebrations ahead. 🙂
Thank you, thank you, Victoria!
I’m late, but HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, you two! I can’t believe it was a year ago that we all flew to Paris. Missing that time now!
Thanks, hun! I hope the new ceiling is going up well!
What a beautiful idea and such a beautiful couple! I was in that garden this past summer. Now you’ve inspired me to set my intention on celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary there! Two years to go…
What a gorgeous garden right, Sharon?! I hope you love your 30th anniversary there, too! We were over near the bee keepers house to be a little more on the down low, I hope you find a spot you love just as much (if not the same place exactly) there are so many cute corners of that garden to enjoy. : )
the most inspiring wedding ever. I love this so much! exactly how I want to do it!
I have to admit, I was initially a bit worried that I’d later regret going so non-traditional, but the opposite has been true for us. : )
I hope you enjoy designing your wedding with your Values in mind, too, Katie!
