While watching a TED Talk about the Power of Vulnerability by Brené Brown, this quote struck me as incredibly powerful and true.
I am also excited to dig into Ms. Brown’s Daring Greatly, sent to me by my amazing and sweet client, Anna, as well.

Daring Greatly is one of my all time favorite books. I wish all of my friends had a copy and could read it. Enjoy!
That is so great to hear! Anna says wonderful things about it as well!
yay! i love this pearl of wisdom!
My husband and I watched this TED talk last night! I agree 🙂
What a coincidence!
My mom just read Daring Greatly and loved it. It’s on my extremely long list of books to read! 😉
Same here! I am planning on getting to it once I wrap up the book club. : )
Brené is so great!!! My husband and I saw her on Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday and LOVE what she has to say. We have both read her book, The Gifts of Imperfection, and it…I cannot even begin to tell you how this book speaks to me. You can catch the video of her 2 episodes with Oprah on Oprah.com. You will not be disappointed.
Good to know! This is all making me very excited to learn more about her and her other books/talks too!
I loved her TED talk and her Oprah talks! I’ve watched them all several times, and every time, they speak to me 🙂
I guess I gotta see these Oprah talks! A few others have mentioned them as well. : )
That title sounds like I might need it as well. Thanks for the recommendation!
I loved this talk so much I listened to it twice. It’s so important to realize that it’s ok to be vulnerable. It’s scary. But it’s ok at the same time. In fact it’s incredibly necessary!
Agreed!
The Roosevelt quote has been sticking with me since watching her TED talk. Here’s some fun artwork of the quote 🙂 http://bit.ly/113CQWr

Gill sans. : )
no WAY! my gill sans does NOT look like that! any special type of gill sans? (p.s: just went down a TED spiral thanks to you!)
I’m pretty sure it’s just the one that came on my computer. All caps spread out. : ) Sorry I can’t help you more than that!
