sublet my apartment

I’m going to let you guys in on a little secret: Mr. Lively and I are moving in together in July.

Shhh… don’t tell, okay?

Anyways, this move can’t come soon enough. Jess LC inventory and shipping materials are growing (new goodies are in store at the end of the month) and the workshop materials are coming in (!). Which means this 725 square foot apartment is not going to cut it for us much longer.

Since our leases end two months apart, we are looking to find someone to rent here — and perhaps sign on for a full year in my building in September, if they like.

This one bedroom apartment, which is perfect for one or two people (sans tons of business boxes), will be looking for a new caring renter come July and August.

Interested in what it looks like? Feel free to check out it’s feature in Rue Mag, Apartment Therapy, or even take the video tour on The Nate Show.

She has wall-to-wall / floor-to-ceiling windows, a granite kitchen, and she’s easy to decorate. The building also has a great roof deck and gym. She’s located a block from the running trails off of Lake Shore Drive, and is two blocks north of Lincoln Park in East Lakeview — the best part of all of Chicago, if you ask me.

Before I put this puppy up on Craig’s List, I want to make sure that you all have a chance to snatch her up first! Because nothing would make me happier than to know I can pass her on to someone who cares and loves decor as much as I do.

Interested? Email me at jess (at) for more details.

  1. For a minute I actually thought about this – would be fun to crash for a couple months and be near my sis, but then I realized that July and August are almost my least favorite months to be in Chicago! Excited for you two though!
