Whoa. What a week.

It’s strange, the weeks where I do the most things actually seem to be the shortest. I suppose that’s because I have less time to sit down and get bored.*

Anyways, above you’ll see some of the highlights from my week including thrifting with Kim last weekend at the Brown Elephant. My finds included swans I painted hot pink and a wooden turtle who is now gold brass and belongs to Mr. Lively. I also got some of the goodies for the BwI Workshops as well.

This weekend I’m going to be downloading my business brain into the course material for the BwI Workshops. So it will be a work/play balance for me the next few days.

I hope you have a great weekend with a chance to relax and get bored* just a little!

And of course, thank you for reading MML this week!

*Side note: I’m a firm believer in getting bored every now and then to help appreciate the busy times. Which is why I love email free nights and weekends.

Those look like adorable paper straws, do they get soggy? I’ve been eyeing some at my local paper store for awhile now.

  3. Have a great weekend! I actually got a bit bored with a long weekend last week- this weekend is pretty jam packed to make up for it!

I love your manicure! I really enjoy your “this week I’m thankful for…” posts; it helps me be more mindful of things that make me happy or perk up my day, and I think we could really all use a little more gratitude and happiness.

    Have a great weekend!

Love the (gold) brass turtle! And good luck prepping the workshop material. I know it’ll be great.

  9. Have a great weekend, Jess! I love the photo of the orange plates with the striped straws and cups. Could those be any more “on brand”?
