wish i knew wednesday: how to make your business legal

Tomorrow on Wish I Knew Wednesday I’ll be passing Ker’s question about how to make a business legal over to MML sponsor and new Queen of the Nuts and Bolts for WIKW, Helena Butters of Sweeter CPA.

I first met Helena at a Jess LC trunk show years ago. Since our first meeting she’s left her corporate day job to help creative people form and run businesses, do their taxes, and keep them in the up and up. She’s also got a blog where she shares insight into the nuts and bolts side of business structure as well.

If you’d like to get the email, simply sign up by clicking on the image below. This email list is also where I announce upcoming Workshops and other BWI updates.

(If you have signed up for the BWI newsletter, you will automatically get this series.)

Oh I’m looking forward to reading this edition. I only this year registered my business at the tax office, etc, and I still don’t know if I did it correctly or enough. Only time will tell. It was a daunting step. The article will probably address US regulations, which are irrelevant to me, but I hope there’ll be a bit about how to approach such a move to begin with, being a small, young business, doing it for the first time.
