WishIKnewSocialMediaEffectively

This week on Wish I Knew Wednesday I’ll be sharing my tips and take on using social media effectively.

Though I know many people have a pretty good handle on this topic lately, I do have some key suggestions which have proved to be impactful for myself and my clients.

This WIKW was worth the wait! I’m not a business (yet, fingers crossed). Usually, I upload on Instagram, then ‘Share’ directly from Instagram to my Tumblr blog and Twitter.

But after reading this, I went back into Twitter and uploaded a pic rather than from the share (which just shows as a link, not image). And voila–my image is on my Twitter and it looks so much better, and the ‘pop’ you mentioned. 🙂

Question: Jess, did you go back in your Facebook timeline history to re-upload the pics so they appeared to ‘pop’? Or just from that point forward?

I’m glad you liked last week’s WIKW! No, I did not go back to the previous posts to change them. I just started doing it moving forward.
